Afterschool Program Coach at West Ashley Gymnastics!
Job Description
- Responsible for the care, safety, and well-being of after schoolers ages 5-12 years old.
- Create a positive, fun and meaningful environment for all after schoolers.
- Follow daily schedule including, open gym time, snack, craft, and help with homework.
- Ensure all equipment is correctly set up, maintained and returned to the proper storage area at the completion of activities.
- Follow facility health and safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the USAG code of ethics and conduct for coaches.
Qualifications
- Must be available Monday - Friday 2:15-6:00pm
- Must be self motivated with the ability to engage with children ages 5-12 years old.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage a group effectively.
- Outgoing and energetic personality.
- Previous gymnastics or cheerleading experience not required but strongly preferred.
About us: Our mission at West Ashley Gymnastics is to provide excellent training and instruction in the sport of gymnastics and sports fitness in an excellent facility. We offer recreation gymnastics classes for girls and boys ages 18 months to 18 years old, school day out and summer camps for ages 6 to 12 years old, and girls and boys competitive gymnastics teams. We are a rapidly growing gym with a fun work environment, great families and a coaching staff with 85 years of combined coaching experience.
