A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Housing Resource Counselor at Community Interface Services, you will have the opportunity to work closely with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, empowering them to live independently. Your role will involve providing tailored support to help clients develop essential household management skills, including cleaning, cooking, budgeting, and maintaining their health and safety. You will also assist these individuals in connecting with valuable community resources and assistance programs, ensuring they have access to the support needed for a fulfilling life. By fostering independence and self-sufficiency, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for those in the nonprofit social services sector. What you need to be successful
To succeed as a Housing Resource Counselor at Community Interface Services, candidates must possess a diverse skill set that aligns with our commitment to excellence in nonprofit social services.
