Graduate Assistant Cross Country

Mount Mercy University is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant in M/W Cross Country which competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and NAIA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supporting the Head Cross Country Coach in all aspects of the coaching and management of the track programs; assisting and supporting game-day preparation; and execution and participation in all aspects of recruiting student-athletes. Additionally, the graduate assistant will lead efforts in the teams’ social media presences on regular basis. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the combined events.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to support the Mount Mercy University mission as a Catholic university providing student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy. The assistantship requires acceptance and enrollment in one of the approved Mount Mercy University master’s degree programs. The position offers tuition forgiveness and stipend.
