General Summary:

The Therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy across all developmental life stages — from early childhood through adulthood — using trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practices. Family-based therapy serves as the foundation of this role, ensuring that interventions address the needs of both the individual and their natural supports while promoting lasting change. The Therapist also provides individual therapy when clinically indicated, including specialized work with children or youth when family participation is limited or not appropriate. In addition to providing direct therapy services, the Therapist must participate in or facilitate Child and Family Teams (CFTs) and Adult Recovery Teams (ARTs) as needed. The role also involves conducting intake and ongoing assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and coordinating care with internal and external partners. This ensures that members and families receive integrated, high-quality care that supports their emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-being.
