Position Summary
Landmark College is seeking a Human Resources Wellness Assistant to join the Human Resources department and support faculty and staff wellness initiatives, human resources projects, and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, this assistantship is designed for a recent Landmark College graduate interested in exploring career pathways in Human Resources, employee wellness, and higher education.
This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional skill development in a supportive campus environment, while contributing meaningfully to the wellbeing of the Landmark College community.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of faculty and staff wellness initiatives, including monthly programs and activities
- Assist with Human Resources projects related to employee engagement, wellbeing, and organizational development
- Help create, plan, organize, and coordinate on-campus events and activities
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Work closely with Landmark College faculty and staff to promote wellness programming and campus engagement
- Support local community interaction and partnerships connected to wellness initiatives
- Participate in evening and weekend events as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent Landmark College graduate or soon-to-be graduate
- Interest in Human Resources, wellness, employee engagement, and wellbeing
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills in a professional setting
- Ability to be flexible, nimble, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
