Responsibilities

- Establish, monitor, and manage department KPIs and performance targets, including productivity/utilization, cancellation recovery, documentation timeliness, billing readiness, and family experience measures.
- Own department financial performance by improving unit economics, reducing revenue leakage (e.g., scheduling gaps, late documentation, missed authorizations, billing delays/denials), and aligning staffing levels to demand and productivity.
- Develop and maintain consistent operational workflows (SOPs) for scheduling, documentation, authorizations, billing handoffs, and service delivery—ensuring reliable execution across disciplines and locations.
- Ensure staff use clinical and operational software effectively and consistently; reduce manual workarounds; and implement routine compliance checks/audits to protect data integrity and revenue capture.
- Partner with Center Directors and Clinical Directors to fully integrate Comprehensive Services into Center operations, including shared planning for capacity, coordination of care, and standardized communication/cadence.
- Collaborate with marketing, intake, and administrative functions to strengthen referral flow and conversion (referrals → evals → starts) with measurable cycle-time targets.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and retain Comprehensive Services staff; clarify expectations, coach performance, and address performance gaps promptly and consistently.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and documentation standards; maintain appropriate licensure/supervision structures and professional practice requirements across disciplines.
- Promote interdisciplinary teamwork between ABA and Comprehensive Services to support coordinated care plans and improved outcomes for families.
- Participate in internal meetings, leadership meetings, committees, and external stakeholder meetings as needed to support program growth and performance.
- Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives, including outcomes tracking, service audits, and corrective action plans when performance or compliance issues are identified.
- Contribute to thought leadership and professional development activities as appropriate to the needs of the organization (e.g., training, presentations, program improvement projects).
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Physical Therapy License, Occupational Therapy License, or a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Strong working knowledge of operational and clinical software systems (scheduling, documentation, auth tracking, billing workflows) and ability to drive adoption and compliance.
- Proven ability to manage teams through performance improvement, change management, and cross-functional integration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; ability to set clear expectations and drive accountability.
