CYLC Fellow
The CYLC-ARC Leadership and Social Change Career Pathway Program prepares students to enter nonprofit and public sector careers through a paid, learn-and-earn model, doing meaningful community change work. Students pursue a postsecondary credential at American River College while gaining hands-on, work-based learning experience with local community-based organizations and public agencies.
Fellows build skills in community organizing and advocacy, deepen their understanding of local issues, and grow as change agents and leaders through close mentoring, classroom learning, and community-based practice.
The program prepares ARC students to become the next generation of knowledgeable and skilled organizers, advocates, and nonprofit leaders in the Sacramento region.
