Our Agency is recruiting candidates for the following position:
Intake Advocate
This position will provide initial screening, application assistance, and referrals to households in need for a wide array of CAPLP programs including Head Start, homeless prevention, homeless services, and economic empowerment programs. Provide support to all Divisions and communicate with program community partners.
*RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE*
The successful candidate who fills this position will receive a $1000 recruitment incentive. The incentive will be paid as two separate $500 payments up completion of a 6-month and then 12-month service period with CAPLP and with a satisfactory performance review rating.
Minimum Qualifications:
- One of the following
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a Human Service related field
- Associates degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Community Action experience
- Lived experience or a history working with individuals with low incomes and or families in crisis
