Embodied Recovery IOP is a holistic outpatient treatment center in Silicon Valley supporting adults to transform their suffering into empowered living.
Our work with substance use and mental health clients integrates evidence-based treatment with experiential, depth-oriented, and embodiment practices. We offer small group sizes, a calm and structured environment, and a 12-week curriculum that weaves modern science, recovery, ancient wisdom teachings, and experiential practices. Our clinicians work closely together and are supported through mentorship, consultation, and clear clinical structure.
We are currently seeking a part-time, in-person therapist to join our small clinical team.
About the Role
Therapists at Embodied Recovery facilitate groups and provide individual and family psychotherapy within a structured substance use and mental health treatment setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who value depth, presence, accountability, and meaningful clinical work within a steady and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate in-person groups within a substance use and mental health treatment program
- Provide weekly individual and occasional family psychotherapy to assigned clients
- Collaborate closely with the treatment team
- Complete timely, high-quality clinical documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, discharge summaries, utilization reviews)
- Participate in mentorship, consultation, and team meetings
- Support program and administrative needs as appropriate

Qualifications
- Licensed or Associate-level clinician (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, AMFT, ASW)
- Strong clinical judgment and ethical awareness
- Solid understanding of personal and professional boundaries
- Experience in substance use and mental health treatment (preferred)
- Interest and/or experience in 12-step recovery communities (AA, NA, Al-Anon, ACA, CoDA, etc.)
- Familiarity with experiential, mindfulness-based, and/or somatic approaches
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, in-person position in Campbell, CA
- Consistent weekly schedule Monday-Thursday evenings 5:30–9:30 pm
- Compensation based on credentials, experience, and responsibilities
