Flag Football Official
Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as a Flag Football Officials for the upcoming youth flag football season. As an official, you will play a vital role in ensuring fair play, safety, and a positive experience for all participants. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in shaping the next generation of athletes and promoting the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition.
Our fall season will consists of games on Saturdays from April 19th - May 31st.
Key Responsibilities:
- Officiate flag football games for various age groups, ensuring adherence to league rules and regulations.
- Enforce fair play and sportsmanship among players, coaches, and spectators.
- Make accurate and timely calls during games, including penalties, scores, and game clock management.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while interacting with players, coaches, and parents.
- Provide a safe playing environment by monitoring and addressing any potential safety concerns.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of game equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for youth sports and a basic understanding of flag football rules (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain composed and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Previous officiating experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be available to work on weekends during the flag football season.
Compensation:
$25 per hour, plus a bonus if you work all weeks of the season.
