Beech Mountain Resort is seeking a qualified and passionate Mountain Bike Instructor to teach and guide in the Learn to Ride School. This is a fun and unique position set in one of the most beautiful places in North Carolina. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to sharing their passion for mountain biking with riders of all skill levels.

Responsibilities:

Teach fundamental mountain biking skills to individuals and groups
Guide participants through basic skill progression, including bike control, cornering, braking, and descending
Assist guests in accessing trails and navigating the terrain
Educate guests on trail system guidelines and best riding practices
Attend mandatory and voluntary educational and safety clinics
Ensure a safe, fun, and engaging learning environment for all participants

Requirements or Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead group lessons
Strong time management and punctuality for all briefings, check-ins, and lesson assignments
Physical ability to lift 25 lbs. and ride for extended periods
Extensive mountain biking knowledge and experience
