Grade Levels: K–2nd Grade, 3rd–5th Grade

About the Role
Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy is seeking a Lead Soccer Instructor who can turn fundamental skills into high-energy, skill-building sessions. This role focuses on developing young athletes through structured drills, scrimmages, and gameplay while building confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive afterschool environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead engaging soccer sessions focused on core skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, ball control, positioning, and footwork.
- Organize structured drills, small-sided games, and scrimmages appropriate for K–2 and 3–5 grade levels.
- Introduce age-appropriate tactical concepts such as spacing, teamwork, and game awareness.
- Lead one week of Youth Strength Development Training, focusing on coordination, balance, agility, speed, and injury prevention fundamentals.
- Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions.
- Maintain a safe and organized training space.
- Track attendance and communicate any updates or equipment needs to the program team.

- Background working with children in a school, camp, or enrichment setting.
- Understanding of fundamental soccer techniques and youth athletic development.
- Knowledge of basic conditioning, agility drills, and safe movement practices.
- Strong communication skills and an energetic, motivating presence.
- Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic about youth sports development.
