Mental Health Therapist-Masters Level Counselor

Northern Piedmont Counseling PLLC ,established in 2014, has over 12 years of experience and presence in the Mooresville, Statesville and Gastonia communities. We now have a new office location in Conover, NC. NPC is owned and operated by an LCMHC and LMFT with over 30 years of combined licensed experience. Our priority at NPC is in helping others and increasing access to mental health care.

Purpose of the Position: Mental Health Therapist will provide excellent services to individuals in an outpatient office setting.

Specific Duties

• Maintain weekly caseload of Individual and family clients. Minimum of 20 clients per week.
• Support policies and procedures of Northern Piedmont Counseling PLLC.
• Demonstrate administrative and ethical excellence in notes, files, reports, EMR, etc.

Skills, Education, Experience

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work.
• Current licensure in the state of North Carolina. LCMHC/A, LCSW/A, LMFT/A
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Participation in continuing education opportunities as required for State License.
• Adherence to Service Definition 8c under NCDHHS.
• Experience in treatment planning and documenting comprehensive clinical assessments is a plus.
