ABOUT xSPRING

xSpring is an umbrella 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing humanity’s greatest challenges by engaging and empowering the next generation of advocates, researchers, and innovators. We operate at the intersection of science, art and social impact, with a deep commitment to equity, innovation, and underserved communities.

xSpring advances its mission through three interconnected programs:

  • NeuroSpring (20+ years): Advancing neuroscience research and training to improve healthcare outcomes for the underserved communities. Current initiatives include:  The Virtual Neurologist, an AI-driven medical device designed to autonomously diagnose neurological emergencies through direct patient interaction and examination;  The Coma Buster, a transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) device that activates brain regions responsible for consciousness in patients with traumatic brain injury;  Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, a basic science initiative exploring nerve stimulation as a method to increase cerebral blood flow in stroke patients.
  • NuclearSpring (2026): An emerging arts initiative on building an art festival that promotes nuclear disarmament.  The program is currently building its core management team and piloting its artistic concept to assess feasibility and public engagement.
  • EcoSpring (Launching 2027): A life-science-driven initiative addressing ecological challenges and climate change, modeled after research-driven structure of NeuroSpring.

Across all programs, xSpring integrates a robust student internship pipeline, supporting learners from high school through graduate school.
