Early On Occupational Therapist (Birth–3 Home Visiting Program)
Organization: Early On Program – Owosso, MI
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Location: Owosso, MI (travel to Perry, Laingsburg, Morrice & parts of Owosso)
Compensation: Starting at $50/hr, depending on experience
About the Role
The Early On Program is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support infants and toddlers (birth–3) through home‑based early intervention services. This position is ideal for new graduates or early‑career therapists looking to gain hands‑on experience while making a meaningful impact on young children and their families.
What You’ll Do
- Provide home‑based OT services to families within the Perry, Laingsburg, Morrice, and Owosso areas
- Conduct developmental assessments, functional evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Support fine motor, sensory, and self‑help skill development
- Coach families using evidence‑based, family‑centered early intervention practices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Early On team
- Maintain documentation and assist with IFSP development
- Attend professional development, team meetings, and trainings
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist License (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest or experience working with infants, toddlers, and families
- Knowledge of early childhood development or early intervention practices (preferred)
- Reliable transportation for travel within the service area
