Behavior Technician
Who We Are
We empower children with language.
About You
You will be someone, with any amount of experience, who loves the following:
- Working with children with autism.
- Learning about the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Likes lots of support and ongoing training.
- Working in a clinic, team-based setting with coworkers that are mostly as crazy as you.
Focused on increasing (language) behavior rather than decreasing “problem” behavior.
Running around with and endless amount of energy and silliness.
Been in the field for years? Great! We can’t wait to see you in action.
Just starting out? Also great! We can’t wait to show you the ropes.
Benefits
We’ve got lots of good stuff! Insurance, PTO, paid training, CEU reimbursement, 401k plus matching up to 4%, discretionary profit sharing, etc. etc. The works!
And you get your birthday off. That’s right. All those times you’ve told people your birthday should be a holiday so you can have it off? Well, we went ahead and made all our employees’ birthdays a personal holiday.
Requirements
#1. Be fun.
#2. A bachelor's degree is not required but preferred.
#3. Experience working with children is a big one. We can teach you all about the science of ABA and the procedures we use but it’s much harder to teach someone how to play with kids.
Not sure if you’re qualified for this job? Apply anyway! Some of our best employees have come from the strangest places. We love talking to people from all walks of life.
