Ideal Martial Arts is a growing martial arts school in San Gabriel, CA. We are looking for a high-energy, positive, and passionate coach who enjoys working with kids and helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and leadership.

This role is ideal for students or professionals interested in education, coaching, fitness, child development, leadership, or entrepreneurship.

What You’ll Do

Lead and assist martial arts classes for kids, teens, and adults

Coach students on confidence, discipline, and goal-setting

Track student progress and support belt promotions

Help create a fun, safe, and motivating learning environment

Assist with events, programs, and daily school operations

Who We’re Looking For

Taekwondo Black Belt (Kukkiwon preferred)

1+ year experience teaching or working with youth

High energy, positive attitude, and strong communication skills

Team player with no ego and a growth mindset

Reliable, professional, and coachable

(Cross-training in boxing, self-defense, or other styles is a plus.)

Pay & Benefits

$18–$30/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Afternoon & evening shifts (4–6 hours)

Monday–Friday
