Wellness Education Speaker

A Wellness Education Speaker reports to the Director of Wellness Education and is responsible for the delivery of Wellness Education programs that cover a variety of topics such as mental health, bullying prevention, relationships and sexual health, puberty and adolescent development, drug and alcohol prevention, cyberbullying, and technology safety. Programs are delivered in all student environments including, elementary, middle, and high schools, public schools, charter schools, private schools, Christian schools, community centers and churches.

 

Requirements:

Public speaking experience preferred but not required as long as you are able to memorize a script and deliver the content in an engaging and dynamic way!

Ability to meet deadlines.

Be available for travel, both locally and within other regions in the state of Texas and beyond. Speakers frequently need to be present at a school for an entire school day (some evening opportunities may occur).

Possess reliable transportation, which is needed for most speaking assignments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passionate about equipping youth to say,"YES!" to their dreams and goals, and "no" to destructive choices.
