Director of Camps and Sports Programs

To lead the development, planning, and
implementation of diverse programs and events at LeTourneau
Christian Center, with a particular focus on summer camps, as well as
sports and recreational programming at the Davis Sports Facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Develop, evaluate, and manage all camp
programs and facility activities.
Strategic Planning & Reporting: Partner with leadership on vision,
strategy, and monthly Board reports.
Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise summer staff and
volunteers in your area of oversight.
Facility & Recreation Management: Maintain safe, well-equipped
recreational spaces and oversee staff certifications.
Budget & Compliance: Manage budgets; ensure adherence to
policies and regulations.
Community & Marketing: Promote programs to churches, youth
groups, and the community; coordinate marketing efforts.
Event Coordination & Feedback: Lead key events and implement
feedback systems to enhance programs and facility use.

Other Ministry Commitments
Attend staff meetings and maintain clear, positive communication
with camp staff.
Respond to guest inquiries and assist with special events.
Recruit and support volunteers, recognizing their contributions.
Participate in on-call rotations to address guest needs.
Complete CPR and First Aid training as required.
Support fundraising efforts by collaborating with donors and
providing program updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in
camping or sports ministry.
Flexible to work varying hours, including weekends and evenings.
Committed follower of Jesus Christ, actively involved in a local
church fellowship, using your spiritual gifts.
Able to sign and uphold LeTourneau Christian Center’s Staff Policy
Handbook and Statement of Faith.
