Quality Analyst Intern

Job Overview

As a Quality Analyst  at GroundGame.Health you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits to ensure that our standards, policies, and procedures are rigorously followed while maintaining a high standard of work ethics. 

We are looking for a self-starter, team-oriented and bilingual (fluent in Spanish) professional to support contracted services and help achieve program goal utilizing platform/software and proprietary data management system. 

You will also play a key role in identifying areas for improvement in Care Coordination processes, contributing to the development of guidelines and systems that ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:  

Audits & Compliance: Conduct both random and focused audits on a scheduled basis for all internal and external entities, ensuring adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.  

Documentation & Process Review: Identify and document issues within the documentation and implementation of the Care Coordination process. Report irregularities and common internal errors that may impact overall quality and compliance.  

Guideline Development: Assist in the creation of clear, consistent, and transparent guidelines to ensure employee expectations are well-defined.  

Fraud Detection & Reporting: Identify and report potentially fraudulent activity according to company policies, demonstrating high confidence in your assessments.  

Confidentiality Adherence: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and all confidentiality guidelines outlined in company policy, ensuring sensitive data is handled with care and integrity.  

Data Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure that clean, accurate, and timely data is available for analysis. This includes automating data collection, aggregation, and transformation processes to maintain data integrity.  

Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, maintain, and optimize scalable and performant data models to support business intelligence and analytics needs, structuring data in a way that is optimal for analysis.  

Data Pipeline Development: Oversee the development and quality checks of data pipelines to ensure clean, accurate, and timely data is available for analysis, including automating data collection, aggregation, and transformation processes.  

Data Quality & Integrity: Establish and maintain quality control measures and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data. Develop systems to detect and correct errors or inconsistencies in data.  

Tool & Dashboard Development: Create intuitive tools and dashboards for internal stakeholders to make data more accessible and actionable. Utilize business intelligence tools to support data visualization and insight extraction.  

Predictive Modeling for Risk Assessment: Build predictive models using Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) data to identify populations at risk due to socioeconomic factors. These models predict health outcomes, enabling targeted interventions.  

Impact Analysis: Measure and assess the effectiveness of social programs and interventions on health outcomes. Develop and apply methodologies to assess the impact of policies or programs aimed at improving social determinants of health.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as product development, marketing, and operations to understand their data needs, provide solutions, and enable data-driven decision-making.  

Data Governance & Security: Implement and enforce policies for data governance, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Manage permissions and ensure that data usage respects privacy constraints, safeguarding data security and confidentiality.  

Innovative Solutions Development: Stay updated with trends in data, machine learning, and analytics to develop innovative solutions that enhance the business's data capabilities. Experiment with new tools and methods to improve data processes.  

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, models, and processes to ensure continuity, knowledge sharing, and transparency across the organization.  

 

Qualifications

Preferred fields (e.g., Social Worker, Health Education).  

Strong background in data quality control measures, error detection, and validation processes.  

Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.  

Experience with data governance and ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
