Physical Therapist (PT)

  • Evaluates and treats residents to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain.
  • Develops and implements therapy plans, documents progress, and educates patients/families.
  • Provides clinical supervision to PTAs and collaborates with care teams.
  • Requirements: Accredited PT degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate), current PT license, CPR certification, 6 months long-term care experience preferred.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

  • Assists PTs in implementing therapy plans to help residents regain movement and manage pain.
  • Guides patients through exercises, documents care, and maintains a safe environment.
  • Requirements: Accredited PTA program graduate, current PTA license, CPR certification, 6 months long-term care experience preferred.

 

Occupational Therapist (OT)

  • Assesses and treats residents to improve daily living and functional skills.
  • Develops individualized therapy plans, documents progress, and educates patients/families.
  • Supervises COTAs and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Requirements: Accredited OT program graduate, current OT license, CPR certification, 6 months long-term care experience preferred.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

  • Assists OTs in providing rehabilitative services to residents under OT supervision.
  • Implements treatment plans, assists with exercises, and educates patients/families.
  • Requirements: Accredited COTA program graduate, current COTA license, CPR certification, 6 months long-term care experience preferred.
