Ninja Gym Fitness Manager

In this role for our ninja obstacle course gym, you’ll run overall gym operations, lead obstacle-based fitness classes, mentor coaches, track athlete progress, and help shape a fun, safe, motivating training environment. Responsibilities:
- Oversee ninja gym operations of the fitness facility 

- Help develop and lead programming for classes focusing on technique, safety, and progression through obstacle courses.  

-  Collaborate with our Competitive Coach to create a seamless gym experience for all students and coordinate how class programming and courses work for all programming, camps, and events.  
- Manage and lead a team of coaches including training, mentoring, and evaluating

- Act as Lead Instructor during classes
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members including discussing child progress, answer questions and facilitate day-to-day transactional activities related to our class management system.
- Monitor and track member progress towards their fitness goals

- Some gym cleaning and equipment maintenance

 

Requirements:
- Previous experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children in a fitness or sports-related setting
- Ability to work approx 16+ hours per week, including occasional weekends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kids
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fitness equipment, body movement techniques, and industry trends
- Ability to develop and implement effective fitness programs
- Proficient in using tablets for sales transactions, progress tracking and attendance
- Experience in training and motivating staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Must be available weekdays with options for morning, afternoon and evening shifts and occasional weekends
- Background check required

Pay: $18 - $25 per hour
