Sales/Business Development Intern

BBI International seeks a qualified intern to join our sales/business development team. The company publishes a range of magazines, including Ethanol Producer Magazine, Biomass Magazine, Biodiesel Magazine, UAS Magazine, SAF Magazine, and Carbon Capture Magazine, as well as a number of other web-based industry resources.

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales staff with lead generation, data management, customer service
  • Enter contact information into contact management systems
  • Assist with execution and planning of trade shows, including with with sponsors, exhibitors, attendees and speakers
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
  • Identifies prospects via telephone from lists provided by marketing team and business development director.
  • Calls prospective customers by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies.
  • Influences customers to buy advertising, exhibits or sponsorships by following a prepared sales script.
  • Completes calling task by recording names, addresses, and interested product.
  • Secures information by completing database updates.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

BBI International is looking for an undergraduate student who is majoring in sales, marketing, advertising, or communications. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Top sales reps will have the possibility of working full-time once they graduate.
