Internship Term: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026
Location: Remote & In-Person Columbus, Ohio
Hours Minimum: 10- 15 hrs per week
Supervision Provided: AAMFT Approved MFT Supervisor & LPCC-S Approved Supervisor
Internship description:
Hope, Love, and, Dream, Inc is currently recruiting highly motivated graduate-level MFT, Counseling, aand social work students for our Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 internship cohorts. Our internship experience is tailored for students interested in trauma-informed, system and justice focuses, and equity driven mental health care.
Internship will work alongside licensed clinicians and program lead to support therapy sessions, reentry support, office support, and community wellness initiatives for system impacted individuals, youth and families across Ohio
Expected Responsibilities
- Support delivery of trauma-informed mental health services (individual, couples, families, and groups)
- Assist with office support when necessary
- Assist with treatment planning, assessments, case notes, and screenings
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision and peer clinical consultation
- Attend trainings and community outreach sessions relevant to our population
- Learn care coordination and referral processes for system involved individuals, youth, and families.
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice at all times.
- Be self-driven and a self starter to market and create outreach to build caseload
Minimum Requirements
- Enrolled in a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- In good academic standing and eligible for practicum or internship placement
- Available to commit a minimum of 10-15 hours per week for the full semester/year
- Located in Ohio or able to attend hybrid events when applicable
- Strong written communication, and time management skills
